Assistant Procurement Manager

  1. Job Responsibility
  • Oversee Daily Operations: Assist in the development and execution of procurement strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs.
  • Manage day-to-day procurement operations, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management, logistics coordination
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors and transportation companies to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with established purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Staff Supervision: Schedule and assign tasks to procurement staff, evaluate performance, and manage related activities
  • Identify bottleneck with strategic solutions in time
  • Other relevant tasks assigned by Procurement Manager

II. Job Requirement:

  • Minimum 10 years of management experience in a centralized procurement environment
  • Education: Typically requires a relevant degree such as in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven negotiation skills and high-level competence in Microsoft Excel and other office packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in negotiation and  management systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
