JOB PURPOSE
A Project Planner is responsible for developing detailed project plans, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. They work closely with project managers and other team members to coordinate tasks, allocate resources, and track project milestones.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing Project Plans: Creating comprehensive project schedules that detail tasks, milestones, and
deadlines - Resource Allocation: Managing human and capital resources to ensure timely project delivery
- Budget Management: Tracking project costs and ensuring implementation stays within budget
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and providing solutions to prevent project delays
- Reporting: Preparing and presenting project reports for stakeholders
- Collaboration: Working with project managers, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure
project success - Adjusting Plans: Modifying project plans as needed to accommodate changes and ensure project
goals are met - II- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- On-Time Completion Rate: Percentage of projects completed on schedule
- Budget Adherence: Percentage of projects completed within budget
- Resource Utilization: Efficiency in using allocated resources.
- Risk Mitigation: Effectiveness in identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Feedback from stakeholders on project outcomes.
- Project Quality: Adherence to project quality standards and deliverables.
- Cycle Time: Average time taken to complete project tasks.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in MEP or related field
- Experience: 10 years experience in Project Planning or a related field is often preferred.
- Planning & Scheduling and Project Control skills
- Analytical Skills for project requirements assessment
- Strong Communication skills for engaging with stakeholders
- Experience in project planning and management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
- Knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes
