
1.JOB PURPOSE:
The Assistant Design Manager (MVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting) is to take care of project bidding
documents, solving problems regarding MVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting and Design work, and provide
technical training to subordinates.
2.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take responsibility for bidding projects and monitor design documents.
- Realize site inspection and project specifications by presented drawings analysis.
- Take responsibility for reporting MVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting activities design to Mechanical Design Manager.
- Execute details design with the design office including calculation, plumbing and firefighting system.
- Be an internal technical trainer and facilitator for MVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting and Microsoft Project course.
- Prepare construction document to be forwarded to the site including bill of quantities, Construction drawings, copy of Purchase orders without value, technical specifications and equipment schedule.
- Coordinate and provide solutions to all design teams, both Head Office and Sites on the design issues.
- Can take disciplinary action on direct subordinate design staff by issuing verbal notice or excluding from work site staff that do not respect Internal Regulation.
- Contact with suppliers, staffs mobilization and preparation of as Built Drawings or Operation Manual.
- Providing technical support to the site and revising proposals submitted as variations requested by clients.
- Doing report as weekly, monhtly, yearly about working process to Mechanical and Plumbing Directors.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager.
3.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Machanical or related fields.
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in Mechanical ,Plumbing and Fire Fighting
- Good knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Office, and hydraulic design tools.
- Good knowledge in English both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Be able to work under pressure and tight timeline.
- Flexible working hours depend on needed and good leadership skills.
