On July 12, 2025, the Lotus Green Team proudly sponsored the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) in hosting the 11th GIM Family Reunion. This year’s theme was “Digitalisation and Industrial & Mechanical Engineering,” and the event took place at the ITC campus.
The reunion brought together a diverse group of participants, including graduates from the Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Department (GIM), undergraduates, postgraduates, academic staff from the GIM Department and related fields, as well as industry professionals and representatives from the private sector involved in industrial and mechanical engineering.
The event aimed to achieve the following objectives:
1. Laboratory and Services Introduction: To familiarize participants with the GIM Department’s laboratories and services that enhance both academic learning and industry collaboration.
2. Digital Transition Overview: To provide a comprehensive understanding of the shift from traditional manual systems to modern digital technologies in engineering practices.
3. Job Market Navigation: To offer practical guidance on successfully navigating the job market in the digital era, emphasizing essential skills and platforms such as LinkedIn.
4. Networking Opportunities: To create avenues for alumni to connect with current students and industry representatives, fostering mentorship and collaboration.
The reunion served as a platform for knowledge sharing and networking, reinforcing the bond between the GIM community and the industry.
